Our Heritage

For over seventy years, G. Inglese has preserved the art of handmade shirts, made to measure, in the heart of Puglia. Hand-cut garments, crafted in Ginosa through traditional sewing techniques and carefully selected hand-finishing, carry the same care that has defined our atelier since 1955.

THE PALAZZO
Palazzo d'Alconzo
A historic residence in the heart of Puglia, reborn as the house's atelier and salon. Seventy years of craft, now with a setting worthy of it — fittings, perfumes and the full G. Inglese world, under one noble roof.
G. Inglese shirts are cut by hand in our Ginosa atelier and crafted through traditional sewing techniques and carefully selected hand-finishing. Fabrics are sourced from Italian and international producers. Construction and finishing vary by collection; Essential Wardrobe shirts include machine-sewn buttonholes and hems, and fused interlining.
Every single shirt and tailored piece is cut, assembled, and hand-finished exclusively within our historical atelier located in Via Isola Caprera 27, Ginosa, Taranto, in the Apulia region of Italy.
Clients can personalize their shirts by selecting from our collection of exclusive fabrics, collars, cuffs, buttons, and custom monograms. Once measurements are acquired, each made to measure piece is tailored with hand-stitched details.
Acqua di Ginosa is our signature house perfume, designed by Angelo Inglese to capture the olfactory essence of Puglia. It distills notes of Mediterranean herbs, sea breeze, and citrus, produced in small-batch quantities in our maison.
