Made-to-order craftsmanship
Every G. Inglese garment is produced after your order is confirmed. Please review the product details and size information before ordering. Our atelier is available to help you choose the right fit.
Made-to-order production is distinct from made-to-measure or clearly personalised work. Producing a standard-size garment after purchase does not, by itself, exclude statutory withdrawal rights.
Made-to-measure and personalised garments
The statutory right of withdrawal for a change of mind does not apply to goods made to your individual measurements or clearly personalised, where this exclusion is provided by applicable law. This includes qualifying garments commissioned through our Made to Measure service.
This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights if a garment is faulty or does not conform to the agreed order.
Standard products and withdrawal
For online consumer purchases covered by EU or Italian withdrawal rules, you may withdraw within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, unless a legally applicable exception applies. Discounted standard products are subject to the same statutory rights.
Notify us at info@g-inglese.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. Include your name, order number and the products concerned so we can identify the purchase. You may use the optional model form below, but it is not compulsory. Our reply or prior authorisation is not a condition for exercising your statutory right.
Send the products back within 14 days of notifying us of withdrawal. Please contact us for practical shipping instructions, especially for international returns or fragrances. Mandatory rights under other applicable consumer laws remain unaffected.
Handling and condition of returned goods
You may examine a product as you would in a shop to establish its nature, characteristics and fit. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that examination.
Please avoid wearing, washing, altering or damaging garments before returning them. Return any supplied accessories and, where available, the original packaging. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove a statutory withdrawal right; any lawful deduction will reflect an actual reduction in value.
Pack items securely. We recommend a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of dispatch.

For a return under the statutory right of withdrawal, you bear the direct cost of return shipping. For necessary returns of faulty or non-conforming goods covered by the statutory guarantee, G. Inglese bears the applicable shipping costs.
Fragrances must be shipped in accordance with the carrier’s requirements for perfumery products. Contact us before dispatch so that suitable arrangements can be discussed; this does not restrict statutory withdrawal or guarantee rights.
Refunds
Where statutory withdrawal applies, we refund the payments due, including the cost of standard outbound delivery where required by law. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option selected by you are not refundable under those rules.
Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first, as permitted by law.
We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without imposing refund fees. Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be explained. Payment providers may require additional processing time before the credit appears on your account.
Faulty or non-conforming products
If you believe your purchase is faulty or does not match the agreed order, contact info@g-inglese.com with your order details and a description of the issue. Photographs can help our atelier assess the problem, but do not replace your statutory rights.
The applicable statutory guarantee remains in force, including for made-to-measure and personalised goods. Where the EU legal guarantee applies, it provides at least two years of protection from delivery. Remedies include repair or replacement free of charge and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination with reimbursement. Please contact us to arrange any necessary return.
An agreed alternative: store credit
If you prefer to keep your garment, our atelier may offer an individual commercial arrangement in the form of store credit redeemable on g-inglese.com. The amount is assessed and agreed case by case and may equal the full purchase price of the garment.
Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Its use is voluntary and requires your agreement. It is not a compulsory substitute for any statutory right to a monetary refund or other guarantee remedy. The agreed amount, expiry date and redemption instructions are communicated when the credit is issued.
